PSP, Road Safety Coalition team up to provide life-saving equipment

Just as the PSP aims to address the region’s education, health care and housing needs, it plans to help make Permian Basin roads safer. The partnership is partnering with the Permian Road Safety Coalition to provide almost $1.1 million in life-saving equipment to first responders in 22 counties across West Texas and New Mexico.

Teacher certification aims to attract, retain teachers

An initiative to enhance teacher quality in West Texas and Eastern New Mexico will give teachers a chance to achieve certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.

ECISD teachers get opportunity to become nationally board certified

Ector County ISD is getting a multi-million dollar investment that will not only help improve their teachers, but their students as well. The investment is coming from a partnership between the PSP and the National Board of Professional Teaching.
