MIDLAND, Texas (October 27, 2026) – The Permian Strategic Partnership (PSP) is partnering with other community organizations to bring a new $77 million Career and Technical Education (CTE) Center to Midland College. The PSP is investing $10 million to support the expansion of Midland College’s workforce training programs, providing students and adult learners with modern learning equipment, and strengthening partnerships with local employers.
“Equipping our workforce with high-quality education and industry-aligned training is critical to the long-term success of the Permian Basin,” said Tracee Bentley, President and CEO of the PSP. “We are proud to join our philanthropic partners in investing in the next generation of skilled workers, creating meaningful pathways for students to pursue high-demand, high-wage careers while strengthening the workforce that will drive our region forward.”
