Permian Strategic Partnership Focus

Why Road Safety?

To maximize energy production and economic development opportunities, the Permian Basin requires safe and reliable transportation infrastructure to ensure that families, workers, students, and first responders can return home safely each day.

To address both immediate and future needs, the PSP is working to increase funding for priority transportation corridors and to support locally driven projects that will improve safety and accessibility for everyone living in and visiting the Permian Basin.

Road Safety

What We’re Doing

The PSP Road Safety Committee, in collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders, is identifying road infrastructure initiatives that can be accelerated through the power of public-private partnerships. Member companies of the PSP are committed to the success of the region, and they know that reliable infrastructure is a key foundation for that success. Addressing safety and volume concerns with realistic and innovative solutions will benefit citizens and businesses alike.

By enhancing access to real-time data and setting both short- and long-term goals, the PSP Road Safety Committee will complement the work being done at the local, state, and federal levels to address our shared infrastructure challenges.
