Why Road Saftey?
The unprecedented opportunity for energy production and economic development in the Permian Basin requires reliable infrastructure to be fully realized. New pressure and increased traffic from population growth has resulted in damaged and dangerous roadways.
To address immediate and future needs, the PSP is working to identify solutions for priority transportation routes and increase access to financial support for locally driven projects that increase safety and accessibility for all residents and workers in the Permian Basin.
What We're Doing
The PSP Road Safety Committee, in collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders, is identifying road infrastructure initiatives that can be accelerated through the power of public-private partnerships. Member companies of the PSP are committed to the success of the region, and they know that reliable infrastructure is a key foundation for that success. Addressing safety and volume concerns with realistic and innovative solutions will benefit citizens and businesses alike.
By enhancing access to real-time data and setting both short- and long-term goals, the PSP Road Safety Committee will complement the work being done at the local, state, and federal levels to address our shared infrastructure challenges.
